A truly wonderful pair of large cast iron urns with matching plinths, both urns features snakes or serpents forming the handles with male masks to each side. The urns themselves have a gorgeous tulip shape that sprays outward at the top

There is floral decoration towards the base that leads into the highly unusual twist design before finishing at the square foot

The plinths are in the stepped renaissance style and complete these totally original pieces

These fabulous urns and plinths are obviously the work of a fine foundry, the work here is extremely fine and of high quality
